Add/Edit Project Galleries

  1. Go to Robo Gallery in the left side black admin bar.
  2. Click Manage Galleries.
  3. To edit an existing gallery, hover over the gallery name and click the edit link under the name.
    1. To add, edit, or delete images, click the green Manage Images button.
    2. The gallery window will pop up.
    3. Rearrange images by clicking/dragging.
    4. Delete images by clicking the “X” in the images corner.
    5. Add new images by clicking the “Add to gallery” link on the left.
    6. If the photo is already in the Media Library, click Media Library. A pop up screen will appear covering your page. To the left  are Folders. Click on the folder that contains the photo you want to use. Click on the photo you want to use.  Click the blue Select button.
    7. If the photo is already in the Media Library, click Media Library. Click on the photo you want to use.  Click the blue add to gallery button lower right.
    8. If the photo needs to be uploaded:
      1. First, resize your photo from your favorite desktop application to be no wider than 1200 pixels for horizontal (landscape) photos or 1200 height for vertical (portrait) photos. Save as JPG with 70% compression rate (if possible). The goal is to make the smallest file size possible while retaining the size and clarity needed to be displayed perfectly.
      2. Click the upload tab.
      3. Navigate to the location of the photo on your computer or shared drive then click the open button at the bottom or drag and drop into the dotted blue line.
      4. Make sure the newly uploaded photo is selected (will have a blue check mark in its corner).
    9. Click the blue add to gallery button lower right.
    10. You will be taken back to the gallery page.
    11. Click the blue Update button in the right side.
  4. To create a new gallery, I recommend you clone an existing gallery to assure all style settings are correct. Hover over a gallery that is similar (sector vs about us galleries) then click the clone gallery link.
    1. Once in the newly cloned gallery, change the gallery name.
    2. Follow steps 1-11 above.
    3. Click the blue Update button in the right side.
    4. On the page where you want the new gallery, click on the Robo Gallery block and select the new gallery from the drop down menu.
