General Role Description
The Designer is accountable for day-to-day design and drafting tasks. A designer will typically be engaged on multiple projects with coordination by Project Managers and the Director of Engineering. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Development
- Provide input for continuous improvement of design processes
- Continue to develop design and drafting skills
Engineering
- Ensure application of design standards in all current platforms (including AutoCAD & Revit)
- Work with Project Managers on assigned design and drafting tasks
- Work with Project Engineers to execute design tasks
- Ensure design complies with internal design standards
External Leadership / Community
- Participate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs
- Assure that the organization is consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
